Michael J. Johnson, CFA, CFP

I joined the firm and the world of financial planning in 2014, after spending the prior decade evaluating fund mangers, developing financial models, and spending most of my time crunching numbers in Excel. After starting my career consulting on corporate retirement plans, I moved to San Francisco in 2008 and worked for a private family investment office for six years.

I'm a problem solver at heart and enjoy thinking through potential solutions. My friends know that if I'm handed a brain teaser puzzle, it won't get returned until it's solved, even if it takes a year.

When I'm not at work, you'll find me in the snow as much as possible, cooking up a new recipe, or hopping on my bike for a ride when the weather is nice.
